FORMER is a media and apparel brand, so it isn’t often that we have the opportunity to contribute to the design of footwear.In our collaboration with GLOBE, we aimed to create something truly special. We started with Austyn’s latest pro shoe, evolving it by adding unique artwork and graphics from the FORMER archives. To complement, we introduced a simple yet premium leather mule to serve as a lifestyle option and provide a touch of sophistication. All three shoes come together to round out what is a modern and creative partnership from two likeminded brands.

Gillette Mid
The mid-cut version of Gillette represents everything Austyn wanted in his pro shoe. It's built on Globe's tried and tested Super-V™ outsole with custom foxing tape and toe bumper all made of Bloom™ Trek Rubber for an eco-friendly enhanced board feel and added durability. Featuring our new Lux Shockbed™ insole; fusion-welded synthetic suede liner; Globe's Flex-Resin Formula Rand wraps and tones of other tech features - every detail of the Gillette is considered, making it a highly functional skate shoe.
Former Collab
The Former collaboration with Globe comes in three forms. Austyn's low cut pro shoe, Mid cut pro shoe and the complementary lifestyle Mule for all day use. Partnered with custom artwork with a unique point of view, all three styles reflect a modern partnership with two like-minded brands.
Former Custom Artwork
In collaboration with Former we aimed to create something truly special. The unique artwork rendered by the team at Former has been applied to the upper and foxing tape. The tongue features a special 3M reflective patch to highlight the whole package.
